The Military Embedded computer family (EL/S-9000) is based on Motorla's 680x0 and Intel's 80x86 microprocessors. The EL/S-9000 uses the VMEbus standard as the system bus.


 

The EL/S-8661 ruggedized PC product line, contains a complete range of rugged and MIL-SPEC standard computers. This product line is based on an IBM PC/AT compatible utilizing Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) boards and assemblies that have been designed for use in harsh military and industrial environments. The EL/S-8661 utilizes a unique active temperature control unit.

The EL/S-8666 is a ruggedized 19" rack mountable computer which is based on a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC) Alpha station, Model 250 4/266, plus additional DEC components. It is designed and built for use in harsh environments such as in vehicles, propeller driven aircraft and marine vessels, where ruggedness is mandatory for proper equipment operation.

The Sun Workstation product line is a family of Sun Sparc based ruggedized workstations. This design is based on Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) boards. The workstations are designed and built for use in harsh environments such as in vehicles, aircraft and marine vessels, where ruggedness is mandatory for proper equipment operation.

The ISD provides a line of accessories such as storage devices, enclosures, power supplies, cabling systems, etc. for the above listed family of products.

The Operator Consoles product line contains two main console configurations for the command and control of various platforms and sensors.

The Flight and Mission Control System (FMCS) computers are a family of flight management processors. Their outstanding features include small size, very high reliability and modularity in construction. The primary use of these computers is for performing flight and mission control tasks in both piloted and unmanned air vehicles.
