Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) Board of Directors, chaired by Yair Shamir, approved the following new appointments based on the recommendations of IAI's President & CEO, Itzhak Nissan:
Baruch (Bari) Mevorach appointed Corporate Vice President of Strategy and Planning
Mevorach will be responsible for all strategy and long term planning in the company. Prior to his nomination, Mevorach was deputy Vice President and Assistant to the President.
Baruch Mevorach joined IAI in 1972 as a development engineer in IAI's TAMAM Division, in the Systems, Missiles & Space Group. Mevorach has served in various capacities in IAI: as Director of Business Development for the Systems, Missiles & Space Group; Director of R&D and Business Development for the Electronics Group (from 1999 to 2002); and Head of IAI’s office in Chile (from 1996 to 1999).
Baruch Mevorach holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and graduated from the Executive Development Program at Tel Aviv University’s Recanati Business School.
Jehezkel (Hezi) Grizim appointed Corporate Vice President for Special Projects
Prior to this nomination, Grizim was Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Military Aircraft Group. Grizim held a number of professional and managerial positions in Radar Systems and Airborne Early Warning (AEW) Systems divisions of ELTA, IAI's group and subsidiary.
Grizim has been involved in a number of high profile projects for IAI including a $1.1 billion contract for an Airborne Early Warning system; and leading the program to convert the Gulfstream G550 aircraft to an AEW configuration for the Israel Air Force (IAF).
Hezi Grizim holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering and is a graduate of the TIM Senior Management Program from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology.
Aharon (Roni) Segal appointed acting General Manager of the Military Aircraft Group
Prior to this nomination, Segal was Vice President for Operations at ELTA Systems Ltd., a group and subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI)
Roni Segal served in several key roles in IAI: Deputy Director for Operations at the Radar Directorate and Deputy General Manager of ELTA's IMINT & Radar Division.
Roni Segal holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics from Tel-Aviv University. He is a graduate of the Business Management course from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Yair Sherman Appointed Deputy Corporate Vice President of Security Matters
Prior to his nomination Sherman was IAI's deputy corporate security officer for data protection. The security organization in IAI is responsible for the safety of the company employees and possessions, data protection, and personal reliability of IAI's employees under the direction of the Security Department of Israel Ministry of Defense and IAI's president.

Yair Sherman holds a B.A in Social Science from the Open University and an M.B.A from Thames Valley University in London.
